CM Immersive has released update 0.14 of In the Radius 2 for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The update adds the Pechorsk Outskirts location, unlocked through the Top Priority: Distorted Sample Delivery mission, along with reworked interiors, denser forests, new points of interest, and Distortion Zones that damage players who enter without Distortion-Proof Headgear.
The headline mechanical addition is a modular weapons system covering 156 modules across 30 gun frames. Supported weapons include the AK-74, AKM, AKS-74U, M4A1, G36, and newly added PP-19-01 Vityaz, MP9, Mosin-Nagant, Benelli M2, and SR-25, among others. A Mag Palming mechanic lets players hold two magazines in one hand and swap between them using the trigger.

Enemy AI has been revised: enemies now search for the player rather than returning only to a last-known position, take cover under pressure, and react to nearby flashlights and laser sights. Detection range has been reduced and reaction time increased, with fog, grass, and bushes now affecting enemy vision more significantly. A new enemy type, the Phantom — an invisible melee entity — has also been added. Day and night cycles are now synchronized across all locations.
CM Immersive states that following the PCVR release of 0.14, most of the team has shifted focus away from incremental 0.x updates toward preparing a full release that will end Early Access. The studio says this full version will integrate the game's story with existing and new content.
The full changelog is available on the CM Immersive blog.
