Trenches VR is available now on PlayStation VR 2, priced at €14.99 / £9.99 (regional pricing may vary). The title is published by Perp Games and developed by SteelKrill Studio, and was already available on Steam VR and Meta Quest prior to this release.
Players take the role of James R., a soldier attempting to escape the trenches and return to his family. Progression requires navigating a shifting, claustrophobic maze while avoiding a monster that reacts to in-game sound, including footsteps.
The single-save structure means a caught player loses meaningful progress. Mechanics include hiding spots, throwable distractions, and a trench whistle that can locate clues but also risks attracting the enemy.
A launch trailer is available on YouTube.
